Yoriaki Mochizuki is a Japanese American creator/director, born and raised in Japan where he developed his lifelong love for anime, manga and movies.
Before making the jump to directing, Mochizuki worked closely with Phil Lord and Chris Miller in various roles including associate producer on "The Lego Ninjago Movie", head of story on "The Lego Movie 2," and story artist on the Academy Award winning "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."
His directing credits include an award winning series "Harley Quinn" for DC, Warner Bros. Animation and its spin-off series "Kite Man: Hell Yeah!" for which he directed its pilot and served as the supervising director.
